STAR-beans had it's debut on Jan.15/06. Back then I used premade layouts that changed every month and zero html skills. I blogged for about 3 months like that before I knew I needed a change. So I devoted myself to making a layout, fixing everything up, and getting a new host. The first part of my task proved to be diffcult. My computer didn't support photoshop or paint shop pro, so I started hunting for a some-what decent free photoediting program. I then found PhotoPlus. True, it, did not have the bells and whistles of ps or psp, but it did the job. With it I was able to create my very own layout, titled v1, REBORN.

After that layout was around for awhile, I found the site in shambles due to my horrible organizational skills. That and with the stresses of normal life had me putting the site on hiatus. After the Hiatus, STAR-beans opened up with a new layout. V2- REACHING OUT starred Kairi from KH2, made with PhotoPlus 6. It love(d) it to pieces, and coding it was a real learning experience (me:omg!11one! I know how to code TABLES now!!!11one!!1).

Kairi's era soon came to an end, and so did her layout. I had started watching OURAN HIGH SCHOOL HOST, and it was taking the online anime community by storm. I really, really wanted to make a layout featuring it, so I started searching for an image. I really, really wanted this layout to be the best I had made, and I wanted it to be a chance for me to make this site a little more personal. None of the images I found were what I was looking for, but soon after the one in this layout was released and I saved it to my spanking new laptop. I went through 3 headers, and 5 coding variations. One the fourth time I realized a)I wasn't trying anything new, just my old regular style b)my coding was sucking out loud and c)If I wanted the navibar that I had been forever been longing for, I was going to have to make the header a tad bigger. So, I sat down, learned a bunch of css tricks, added more flair to the header, and coded. Whole thing, took about 5 hours.
And, that it! I love, love this layout. I love this site, I love blogging. I'll totally be sticking around for awhile!
